Lesley Spring


Lesley qualified as a Counsellor in 2009 and subsequently went on to study a Graduate
Diploma of Counselling (Addictions). Lesley has worked as a Senior Practitioner and
Counsellor at Lifeline Darling Downs in Queensland, Supervised Lifeline Telephone
Counsellors, provided Community Education and Community Recovery in times of natural
disasters. Lesley was also the Regional Assessor in Queensland for students undertaking
their Diploma of Counselling through the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.
Lesley divides her time between Counselling clients at Mandurah Psychological Services
and lecturing students studying Community Services at TAFE. She was also a visiting
Lecturer at Wandoo Reintegration Facility for young offenders from 2015 until its closure in
2017. In 2017 Lesley spent 2 months volunteering her skills in counselling and teaching at
under privileged schools in Jamaica.

In her spare time she enjoys endurance sports having numerous marathons and cycling
events under her belt. Until recently she taught ballet and tap dancing at various dance
schools in Queensland and WA. Now dance is a fun pastime and a way of keeping flexible
and fit.
