Andrew Spring
Principal psychologist

Andrew is particularly interested in the topic of ‘emotional regulation’ and has co-authored a manual aimed at teaching clients how to learn to better tolerate daily stressors using evidence-based methodology. This manual has now been adopted by Lifeline offices across South-East Queensland.

Andrew uses a multidisciplinary background to assist parties to better navigate their understanding and emotional reaction to the legal implications often associated with both domestic violence and relationship breakdowns in general.

Amanda Brown
psychologist

Amanda Brown is a registered Psychologist, who graduated from Curtin University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology. Her academic achievements were recognised in 1994 through invitation to the Golden Key National Honours Society.

Mirjam Jung
Psychologist

Mirjam's experience extends to working with a wide range of issues in adults, such as depression, anxiety, crisis management, life coaching, etc. Having lived and worked in various countries has given her an in-depth understanding of the psychological characteristics of different cultural, religious and spiritual groups. She is also familiar with the particularities of the FIFO lifestyle.

Mirjam works with a comprehensive approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy and Positive Psychology which enables her clients to overcome difficult obstacles as well as identifying strengths and finding unexpected sources of resilience to improve their overall quality of life. Mirjam is in the unique position to offer counselling in German for German speaking clients if requested.

Sian is a registered psychologist with more than 10 years’ experience in counselling. She has worked in both private practice and not-for-profit organisations. Sian has extensive experience working with many complex issues including; anxiety related disorders, depressive disorders, anger issues, personality disorders, and PTSD. Sian has a broad knowledge of perpetrator behaviour and symptoms linked with single and multiple incident trauma. Sian can provide both couple and individual therapy and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Amy Pollock
Psychologist

Amy Pollock is provisionally registered psychologist who is completing her final stage of training to become a fully registered at Life Resolutions in Bunbury.

Amy supports her clients and their families by providing a warm, enriching and non-judgemental therapeutic environment which she believes is fundamental to a client’s self-exploration, growth and development during therapy.

Amy has an interest in working with children and adolescents, however, she enjoys working with clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Dionne Watkins

Dionne is a registered psychologist (with provisional registration) with over 6 years of experience in counselling. She gained provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, after completing an Honours Degree in Bachelor of Psychological Science (with First Class Honours). Dionne has also completed a two-year (full time) Diploma in Professional Counselling through the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.

Lesley Spring
COUNSELLoR

Lesley qualified as a Counsellor in 2009 and subsequently went on to study a Graduate Diploma of Counselling (Addictions). Lesley has worked as a Senior Practitioner and Counsellor at Lifeline Darling Downs in Queensland, Supervised Lifeline Telephone Counsellors, provided Community Education and Community Recovery in times of natural disasters. Lesley was also the Regional Assessor in Queensland for students undertaking their Diploma of Counselling through the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.
